Bug? Certain books on iOS 15.1 can not download unless I try several times (Update coming?)

If there is an update that is coming to fix this, I can wait. Last update edit from me: (iOS 15.1, iPad 13 app, latest version of the app).

The picture is of the books that I had to download 1 at a time (just of some of them), and push the download button at least 2 times, but often times 3 or 4 to get them to download. I did finally get them to download. Note that originally it was over 300 books, but after doing a select all, I was able to get that down to 90 some books. After that, I was able to get it down to around 30 or so, that I had to do by hand, 1 at a time. Thanks!

    Any logs to give a hint as to what was happening? If it were to happen to me, I would expect an unstable internet connection.

    Sorry, I'm not sure. I was on my iPad, so I wouldn't know how to even get a log. However, I was able to get the books downloaded. I was on wifi, which is usually very good (at home). Mystery I guess. lol

    Originally FL discouraged users downloading large amounts of books. I still do so. The app is not as stable as the desktop app and the best fix for many issues is to delete and reinstall. 

    Do you know how large these resources are?

    I don't think there is anything else we can do here on the forum. I think this should be forwarded to IT to have a looksy on their end, so see what they can do. Especially point #4 I think is the most valid and provides a solution for when server loads are too much.

    1. I don't know how large the resources are. It started out being around 300 books, then 200, 100, 80 and then 40. And deleting and reinstalling the app for the umpteenth time this week, is not a solution. However, you wouldn't have known that. ;)  I had to do that twice due to inability to log in. Finally, I had to change my password to get logging in working all around. 

    2. 24 of the books are not supposed to be downloadable, and those titles are also probably in the image. I'm only talking about the other books.

    3. I did get all of the books downloaded, but had to click download about 3 times in order to get it to work, when doing the books 1 at a time. I was able to do a select all and download a few more at once, but had to keep redoing that and alternated between 1 at a time and select all. When I got down to 40, I did some more 1 at a time. 

    4. It is possible that FL had server issues and needed to have less downloaded at once. I'm fine with that. I don't mind it taking longer, as I was willing to wait. It is just that they should have kept the connection, but simply switched to 1 resource downloading, before it started the next resource downloading, if that is what FL's server needed. A customer who choose download all, should not be required to reselect all, or to click download 3 times on average to get the book to download (of the downloadable books only). 

    And I did take a screen shot of the books that did not download at first, but only uploaded 1 shot, as knowing all 300 books initially, I don't think is all that useful. I did get all the books downloaded finally, that should be downloadable. And, its the log of what logos app is doing, that I don't have. 

    5. Here is the screen shot of the message I got - complete with some titles that should not be downloadable and hopefully some that should be. I am not going to upload any more images outside of the ones below because I don't have access to app logs to my knowledge. ;) And I think any further images would be spam. Sorry! [:P]

    The forums are crowd sourced tech support. If you wish to communicate with FL, you should contact them directly.

    This is exactly what I did, by the way. So maybe you should understand that I am not on a brilliant PC, where I was not having this issue. Thank you!

    Kytriya, Alabama is an Apple-person, and iPad guy; he's quite knowledgable. Your images look secondary (edited), because the screen is crooked, and you can see objects off-screen. I'm not sure what a strict screencopy would accomplish though.

    This won't help you, but using the little menu next to the download button is usually more effective ... but doing a select-all eliminates the little menu ... sigh. And your struggles are not unique, but I've never seen what the cause is.  For me, sometimes it tries to download what I didn't ask for.  LOL.

    Sorry! I think that some of them I might have used my iphone for. My bad.[:P] [:D] lol It was the Japanese app that I took screenshots of using the usual screenshot thingy. 

    Be that as it may, it is too late now because the issue was resolved by simply over pressing download. Thus, I can't get those as a 'screenshot'. Oh well. Its okay, I was just thinking IT might be able to do a future 'whatever they want' to make this different somehow. It okay if they don't. It is not a salvation issue for me! lol
