Clippings in Faithlife eBooks on iPad
On an iPad with the most current system software, I highlighted some text in a FaithLife ebook and decided to add it as a clipping. I had created a Clipping Set called Isaiah. I clicked on add a clipping and put it in the Isaiah “clips”. But I could not navigate away from the Clipping window where I could do a “search”. I didn’t want to search I wanted to ADD the clipping. I had to discard the clipping in order to get back to the actual book.

Bump just means MJ is 'bumping it' back to the top, so more can see your problem.
Regarding your inability to add, if your iPad is like my Mini, the 'Done' (add) and 'Cancel' (return; don't add) are misplaced above the Clipping panel. I could barely see them myself.
