I need help to find the phrase and the morphological graph with logos 4 so I can prepare for a sermon. Can anyone help the Passage is 2 Chronicles 7:11-22 with verse 14 being the key verse.
What base package do you have? The answer is dependent upon your resources. Also, what is your knowledge of Hebrew?
Please explain exactly what you want - the terms you use seem ambiguous.
I have the platinum and I do not know hebrew. I want to know what are the pc and the verbs in this particular passage. This will help me to identify the main points and subpoints of the passage.
Phelix,
PC. does that mean "primary clause?"
As for identifying parts of speech..you can use a "visual filter" mark all (for example) verbs...verbs of a certain type, or whatever you want.
File>visual filter. is the place to get it.
Type in @V and choose whatever type of verb you'd like to track.
Then choose a "mark up" to identify it...
It will appear in your bible in that mark up color....
Is this what you are looking for? If it is go to your library and search for the Andersen-Forbes Phrase Marker Analysis. You should have it if you have Platinum.
If you have the Platinum package then I would suggest using the Syntax databases in your library. For Hebrew the Andersen-Forbes and for Greek either Cascadia or OpenText will show you a verse by verse breakdown of all the primary clauses and sub-level information, including the morphological information for each word.
I am not an expert with the Syntax graphs yet, but I have learned a lot using the old L3 tutorial videos and applying the same steps to conducting searches in L4. There are some differences in the way choices are made in L4 but you can figure those out. You can apply visual filters to these resources as well.
I was replying above at the same time Kevin was. I'd make the great minds statement, but when it comes to Syntax your better off listening to him than me.
Thanks for the feedback. PC is for "primary clause" and the phrase analysis is what I was looking for. Thanks for all the help.
