Bible Word Study has no content - Android
I have version 9.9.1 of the Android Logos Bible app, runnng on a Samsung Galaxy S7 tablet with Android 11.
When I pull up the Bible Word Study, I get a screen showing at the top lbs.el.<lemma> and then three sections: Definitions, Hebrew Words, Greek Words. These are all empty.
I have several lexicons installed and am connected with wifi. I know how it should work through the MP Seminar series on the Mobile App, but can't get this to work on my own device. On my desktop there is not problem with this feature.
Any suggestions?
A new observation: if I try to open the Bible Word Study from the Exergetical Guide, I get the empty screen described above. If I double click a word and get the Word Info card, and from the menu choose Open Bible Word Study, I do get the proper data.
However, if in the Word Info Card, I choose the option "Search for this word" I get a screen showing at the top Lemma=lbs/el/-lemma- and below that "No results match your search.
So it will not open by clicking on the lemma in the Exergetical Guide, but will open from the Word Info Card. But searching from this Word Info card also doesn't work.
I can't see what I am doing wrong, but assume the two issues are related.

I have several lexicons installed
This part doesn't matter... it will come from the servers and the download status is unrelated.
Does this show as owned? Link Sets | Logos Bible Software

Yes, link sets shows as owned. Linking also works fine on both desktop and Android tablet. Exegetical Guide also works fine as linked to the current passage. However, while in iOS the Exegetical guide opens to the active verse in the open Bible, in Android a list of verses visible in the open screen is shown and a choice has to be made.
With "lexicons installed" I should have said that I have purchased various lexicons.
As an additional point. I have installed the app on an iPad, and there everythnig opens normally, so from Bible translation to Exergetical guide, and selecting a lemma to Bible Word Study. So it is not linked to resources I own. But I want to use Logos on my Android tablet.

I see the same problem

I note that when going from a Bible, all that is displayed at the top of the BWS guide is the actual lemma. When going from the Exegetical Guide, the lemma is preceded by lbs.el
So I assume that this format does not work correctly for the BWS on Android and either that needs to be changed or the Exegetical Guide needs to pass something different to the BWS.
Is that consistent with what you are seeing?

Yes, that is exactly what I am getting as well. At least it's consistent [:)]

I also noticed that the blank BWS guide opens in the same panel that contained the Exegetical guide instead of opening a new panel, and there's no way to get back to the Exegetical guide without closing that blank panel and reopening the Exegetical guide from the bible action menu. In Morris Proctor's training video (he was using an iPad) his BWS guide opened in a separate panel from the Exegetical guide when he completed this action so I assume that's what Android is supposed to do as well.

Having follwed the MP seminar training I also noticed quite a few diferences between iOS and Android. Where on the iPad there is often a Done button, this tends to be the standard back icon on Android. I have the advantage of having an Android tablet, but also (temporarily) an iPad. Yes, you are correct that when from a Bible passage opening the Exegetical Guide, on both Android and iOS this opens in a separate panel. Clicking on a lemma then opens a third panel in iOS with the BWS, while staying on the same panel in Android, and the Back icon doesn't work. I assume this is all part of the bug for which there is now a ticket. If on the BWS screen you go to the action menu and choose Settings, and then go back, the Back icon does bring you back to the Exegetical Guide. So a few things to sort out.

I have had the same issue with the Android app for some time. It used to work properly, but now the Word study doesn't show anything.

Paul,
This issue will be resolved with the forthcoming release of the 9.10 version of our Android app.
It has already been fixed in our Beta version that was released recently.
However, since the Beta version is not as stable as our regular version, you may want to stick with our regular version. The choice is yours.
