Are these results typical for most users?

So far it's been 1/2 hour on mine and I'm closing the search.
Mind you, I'm running a full virus scan in the background and downloading updates if it matters,
Sarcasm is my love language. Obviously I love you.

mine took 941 seconds (but also doing lots of other stuff on my PC)... i'm assuming it takes that long because of the way the grid search displays the information... doing an Aligned or Verses search is significantly faster (i.e. <10 sec)

Ran a search on the word god in all bibles. Took nearly 10 minutes to complete. Is this typical for Beta 4.0c Beta3?
Mine also was taking over 20 minutes before I ended it. Indexing is still running on my system, though, since the installation of the new reverse interlinears and syntax databases.

The creation of the grid does indeed take more time than the display of just a simple list of results (i.e., "Verses" search). Additionally, I find that the layout of the grid ceases to become very useful once you get past 10 or 20 columns, so we haven't spent a lot of time optimising the 50-column scenario.
