In several of my books in Logos, my highlights are missing. Can someone tell me please what to do. Thank you.
UPDATE: Highlights are even missing from my John MacArthur commentaries.
Have you verified that the visual filter is turned on to show them? Can you provide a screen shot of a note that is not showing ...i.e. show us the note and the resource in which it is no appearing?
Where do I find the Visual Filter? I know that I have the Notes and Highlights checked.
This is really weird. In the resource, it shows on the side that I have read the book, but the highlights are not showing up. I s there anything I can do to update this?
Its not a note. It is just my highlights. I underline certain words or phrases in my resources.
I just checked and it seems that all of my highlights are not showing up in most of my resources. Something has to be wrong with this.....
All of my highlights are missing from my Beth Moore books as well.
Whatever is happening, I truly hope Faithlife can get this fixed. [:D]
The visual filters icon is the cannon balls/triangle of 3 balls. It doesn't matter if it is a note, a highlight, or a label - there is an entry in the notes file for it. In this case using the sidebar facet to select by resource might be the easiest way to find a note that is not showing.

Relax, it is unlikely a Faithlife issue as there aren't a slew of complaints on the issue -- it's not a wide spread issue.
In the cannonballs, I have Resource and Notes and Highlights checked.
I know that I have the Notes and Highlights checked.
They need to be turned on at the notebook level on all resources you wish tto have them show.
MJ. Smith Can you please tell me how to do this. Thanks.
Click on the triangle/arrowhead to expand the list. If there is no triangle, there are no appropriate notes or highlights to show.
MJ, I understand, But i have no triangle by "Notes and Highlights" in the MacArthur, neither in any of my Beth Moore resources.
I checked my Max Lucado resources, and some thave the triangle, and some do not. Is this normal?
Have you recently "cleaned up" your notes deleting "empty" ones?
Yes, only those with notes, highlights, or labels will have the triangle; no notes entry then no triangle.
MJ. Smith - Yes I have recently cleaned up my notes, and also deleted some blank ones as well. Is there a way to fix this?
Have you checked here?
Mike Binks - Mine says "Available."

This sounds to me like you may have deleted your highlights, which show up in the Notes tool and would appear blank unless you added text to them.
I recommend clicking the Trash button in the Notes tool and seeing if your missing highlights are there. You can select and Undelete them there.
Andrew Batishko - You had the right answer. I had deleted my highlights, and they were in my trash. I selected and undeleted them from there. Thank yoou so very much. I am grateful. Also thank you to all of the others who helped me along the way with this problem. I am so relieved. Praise God. [:D]

There is a bug where Notes and Highlights may not show the triangle. Click the box to check.
In general, use the Notes tool (including Trash) to check if resources are "missing" anything.
