What is the Analytical Bible Expositor by John G. Butler good for?
It gives a helpful framework for thinking about the text in terms of a sermon or Bible study. I really like it, but I would use it after one has exegeted the passage under consideration.
Rich in alliterated outlines, though some sound forced. Over all, I love it for sermon prep because it gets my wheels spinning and I can come up with a better outline in Spanish thanks to his outlines in English 👍😁👌 For a more developed alliterated series Rod Mattoon is awesome also!
