CRASH: clicking hyperlinks in Notes
These hyperlinks were made in the previous version of Notes (not the present tool). Now I can't click within them or even right-click one of them without Logos crashing (repeatable), especially with Search.
e.g. clicking or hovering in the gap following Search after hovering over it (when the pointer changes). Logos crashes after clicking the Search link.
The first two are links to the C:\ drive that do not work in the Tool. The last three are L4 (logosres) links that still work. But I cannot right-click to edit the link, even with a newly created hyperlink.

Is there any chance you could move the problem note into a Notebook that you could share so that we can take a look at the content?

It is in Public - "For Faithlife only". Can you remove the Share when finished with it?

You can remove the share now.
Unfortunately, I wasn't able to recreate the crash you are seeing, and I can't see any obvious indication why the crash would happen, although from the log it appear the crash happens in response to just hovering over the link. I was able to hover over and click all the links. Right clicking gives the expected behavior for each of the links.
But I cannot right-click to edit the link, even with a newly created hyperlink.
I don't think that right clicking is how you edit a hyperlink. That just brings up a standard context menu (when the link supported it).
If you put the cursor anywhere in the text and use the keyboard to put the cursor on the Search link, then click the hyperlink button, can you paste the contents of the link that shows up in the link editor?

Search ---> logos4:Search;kind=BibleSearch;q=Jesus_God;match=case;exactref=true;in=raw:Single$7CResourceId$3DLLS:LUTBIB2017;references=bible$2Blutbib2017.64
I don't have that resource in Library, but it behaves when a similar link for ESV is used. Now we know the cause, but when will file links (to a local drive) be recognised?

I don't have that resource in Library
Ah! Now I can recreate a problem. Just to confirm, when you paste that search url into the Go box, does it also crash?

it does crash for me in the Go box (as it does when clicking a link to it in a note).
From the crash log: Error ID: 3639 - Error detail: FormatException: The string 'bible+lutbib2' has an invalid format
The url seems to be truncated at the end - there's no reference to lutbib2, only to lutbib2017

That's a different crash (that I spotted and fixed just now). The rest of the url is there, the forum software is just truncating it. If you select from the start of the line all the way to the next line, then paste it in a text editor, you can see all the text and select what is needed.

Thanks!
The full search string, referencing LutBib2017.64 (i.e. the book of John in the German language Luther-bible, edition 2017- which I own) will now crash neither when I click the link in the note nor when I run this as a command from the Go-Box - it will execute the search in both cases (which, looking for Jesus AND God in a German-language bible doesn't yield any results).
Hiding the resource, restarting Logos and trying again will still not crash Logos, though. Maybe because the data is still in the index.

Not in the index, but in your library catalog. Even after you hide it, the record is still there, but marked as hidden. I think this would recreate for any resource ID that you didn't own (replacing LLS:LUTBIB2017 in that link), but we can just wait for Dave to respond.

Great! Thanks for the help tracking this down. I've got cases written up for both crashing issues.

Thanks Philana. But my previous question "when will file links (to a local drive) be recognised?" remains unanswered. Note that they are recognised in Clippings.
