page numbers for personal books
Hello, does anyone know how to get all pages numbers in a personal book using [[Page:xx]] in .docx. I am wanting to have it done automatically, not having to manually do it page by page in my word document. The forum had a macro, but I didn't see it attached and it was from 2011. Thank You

Welcome Lee,
Hello, does anyone know how to get all pages numbers in a personal book using [[Page:xx]] in .docx.
The format is [[@Page:xx]] If the page numbers are present in your document you could do it automatically, but I'm not sure how.

It would help to search the forum for the word "script" or "macro"
There is a thread with a word script or macro which does it automatically. It works, I have tested it.
It must be this one https://community.logos.com/forums/p/35832/269112.aspx#269112

If it puts [[Page:XX]] on each page, a simple Find/Replace can change it to [[@Page:XX]] (a milestone)
The difference is that you can access a page no. from the Reference box of the compiled file with a milestone, and you can use "Show page numbers" from the Visual filters menu.
