Kyle?: Please add pictures/illustrations to Eerdmans Dictionary of the Bible
Here's an excerpt from the official product description of Eerdmans Dictionary of the Bible from Amazon:
"Nearly 600 first-rate Bible authorities have contributed to the Eerdmans Dictionary of the Bible. Intended as a tool for practical Bible use, this illustrated dictionary reflects recent archaeological discoveries and the breadth of current biblical scholarship, including insights from critical analysis of literary, historical, sociological, and other methodological issues."
The Logos edition doesn't have any pictures or illustrations, and Logos' product description subtly drops the word "illustrated" from the description rather than including a clear disclaimer that the original has illustrations not included in the Logos edition. However, a certain competitor's version includes the illustrations.
Can Logos please add the pictures/illustrations to this wonderful resource? This is my most used single-volume dictionary and I would like it to include everything the publisher put in it. I don't know why a certain competitor would be able to include the illustrations but Logos can't.

An added benefit of including the illustrations would be that they would show up in search results for media searches.

Well, thank you, Kiyah! First, using my Logos secret decoder ring, I figured out which 'certain competitor'. And since I had wanted a better dictionary on that platform, I thought it'd be a good purchase ... pictures too! Then, I found out I had it in Logos ... no pictures! Then, I found I had it in 'the certain competitor' too. Pictures! So, I downloaded it (came with my BW transfer).
The interesting part of the photo below, is the row of holes at the top. In southwestern archaeology, it'd be a wood-based roof (and dating opportunities).
Just checking, BW's Eerdmans also had pictures (maybe the source of its demise, of course). Can't check Libby ... she had the good stuff.

FYI...whenever I use the phrase "a certain competitor," I'm always referring to the same one, for future reference. [;)]

I'll see what I can do. We don't have any image files on hand so we'd have to track them down.
The project is old enough that I don't have any on-hand information why they were not included from the get go. Typically that's been a rights issue but it sounds like that might not be in play anymore.0 -

It is quite peculiar that both the Accordance and Olivetree versions have the images but the logos version doesn't i hope this can be rectified soon as this is one of the finest one volume dictionaries out there and a great jumping off point in one's studies.

Thanks for letting us know! Because of this I'm going to buy this one now, I love archeology!
Edit:
I checked this out. There are two dictionaries listed with similar titles, can someone confirm this is the one with the pictures because the description still doesn't contain the word "illustrated" (what's up with that, Logos? [:)] ):
