who of the old preachers from before 1900 has changed your life due to their holiness preaching? I know spurgeon, but is there any better?
Ok, Ole ... here's your chance. Holiness preaching? Is that a method, or a subject, and I presume resources?
I assume you changed your email address ... you had 130+ posts last week.

There’s a reason Spurgeon is known as the Prince of Preachers [:D]
You have to go back to the guys that Spurgeon read, the Puritans, John Flavel, Thomas Watson, John Bunyan, Richard Sibbes, John Owen, Thomas Goodwin… these are some of the best and most well known Puritans, if you want to grow in holiness, there’s probably no greater group of people to read than the Puritans. Start with Puritan Paperbacks from Banner of Truth and Puritan Treasures for Today by Heritage Books.
While not a 1 for 1 equality, there is much overlap with the Keswick movement and holiness preaching before 1900.

Thanks! I never heard about that, before.
Sorry, are you looking for great preaching about holiness, or are you looking for great preaching about holiness done by people from a particular theological group/tradition?
Although he only qualifies on a technicality, being born before 1900 I was really influenced by H A Ironside's Holiness: The False and the True | Logos Bible Software when I was young, in my view a splendid book and he certainly came from the holiness movement, although he did move away from what he came to see as issues with the movement.
This book really had, and continues (30 years later) to have an impact on me, its also a really good read which helps.
ok, I dont need more, but thank you all of you
