In the section Types of Footnotes 2 (d) the reference to Ro 1.13 is referenced twice. I think this is unintentional and should be corrected. See below

For those two instances, the first reference is from the ESV and the second is from your preferred bible (mine is the NRSV). Since your preferred bible is probably the ESV you see the same text twice, but I see the "Romans 1:13" and then "Romans 1:13 NRSV." Since the other references aren't duplicated, I agree with you that it looks like an error that needs to be corrected.

The last time I had an occasion to notice, this also happens in a Personal Book when one tags a version-explicit bible link. Even though it might be annoying when the explicit link is the same as the preferred bible, I like the effect of having two versions in the popup when they are different.

You can control internal bible references if that is what is intended, whether in a bible or a commentary. The OP's issue is clearly one that was intended to be an internal reference whilst others are deliberately tagged not to be a link. And you can mange both types in a Personal Book:
In a PB, a Logos resource link (logosres) or bible reference link e.g. [[John 3:12 >> BibleNABRE:Jn 3:12]] will behave as you describe for the popup, otherwise you will only get a popup for a bible that supports the reference.
