Slides in sermon builder

When I build a sermon in sermon builder and then edit the slide background image all the text is cleared from the slide.

It does not do this to scripture slides.

But all sermon title, header slides, and content slides it removes all the text and then even when I delete the text to retype it in it still does not populate the slide.

I am using the Mac Desktop latest version. Same results on the web too. Needless to say, it slows the workflow way down when you have to remake all the slides.

Anyone else experiencing this?

In my experience, if the media type you are selecting does not match what you have, it just clears it. Even within Proclaim, if you move from a title slide (with two text fields) to a header slide (with three), it clears everything instead of trying to transfer it the best that it can. Very annoying. It seems like this sometimes happens to me within Logos, when there is no obvious indication of why I am getting a different slide type, but I can't reproduce it consistently.

    YES! This is excruciating!

I have started creating generic black slide/white text in Logos, and then editing any text markup or backgrounds in Proclaim. And once you edit in Proclaim, the "control slides in Logos" feature gets messed up.

It renders this highly touted feature virtually useless. There's no difference between this and the days of writing the sermon in Logos and creating slides separately in Powerpoint.

My experience has been that it does it even when I stay with the same media type.

I do the same when editing slides for sermons. At least the content gets sent to proclaim with no issue, but then I have to open another program to do the design work. It's most frustrating when I am working on a project that will use a presentation software such as powerpoint.

For a longtime when this feature was first introduced it always worked great for me. But now, it's almost like it has quit being supported because it seems buggier than when introduced.
