Sermon slide markup

Is there a list of markup codes for use when creating sermon slides.
I've discovered a few, but I'm looking for a complete list somewhere.
For example a 'double dash' ("--") will start a new slide, or a 'double asterisk' ("**") will bold text.

it sure would be nice to have an official list from the programmers.

Here's what I've discovered so far:

-- (Double dash) - start new slide

*text* - italicize text

**text** - bold text

***text*** - bold & italicize text (doesn't always work)

__text__ (double underline) - underline text

*__text__* - italicize & underline

**__text__** - bold & underline

***__text__*** - bold, italicize & underline

My semi-informed guess is that the slides are rendered through third party software and that a complete list of commands may be available on that third party's website. Unfortunately, my interest is not great enough to go through the licenses in "About Logos" to find the third party.

What "semi-information" leads you to believe this may be worth pursuing if someone wanted to pursue it? Is it information germane to Logos, or just a general understanding that software companies typically have third-party contractual arrangements?

Well, I thought that the goal of at least one individual in the thread was to find a complete list of the commands recognized. This is one reasonably direct way of achieving that end. They could then be added to the wiki, limiting the number of people who repeated the exercise of trying to find all the values

I take that to mean you have no first-hand information. I was asking to see if you had a suggestion of a third party to look for.
Thanks for the recommendation. I'm not sure I'd recognize the correct third party if it jumped off the list of third party providers.

You need to use the paper clip or Amber (to the right of the paper clip) to insert an image into a post. Paste or drag-and-drop don't work.

Hello,

When I use these markups, they show properly in Sermon Builder (ie. the words I enclose with asterisks are bolded while I look at the slides in Sermon Builder).

But, when I export to Power Point, the asterisks show, instead of bolded text.

Is there a way to keep the bolded text while exporting?

I've been playing around with these codes. Thank you so much for posting them.

Is there a Logos video that teaches these codes anywhere?

Also, when I use these codes, they work beautifully in Sermon Builder, but when I export to PowerPoint, they revert to asterisks and underlines. Does anyone know of a way to prevent this?
