BUG: Logos continually Syncing

I've noticed Logos continually syncing (spinning sync icon) on two occasions without generating the red error symbol.

On closing the app, the Sync window appeared and did not disappear until I clicked "Exit Now". When Logos was re-started, the Logos 9 banner appeared but Logos did not open. After forcing it to close, I noticed a large, active background task 'Logos Bible software'. Logos started normally after the background task was forced to close, and Sync completed after a short time.

On this second occasion, I closed the active background 'Logos Bible software' before re-starting and normal service was resumed.

The log shows a  SyncManager request that started at 0859 and did not terminate at 1545, when Logos was exiting.

Memory usage was about 47% in both cases and the foreground tasks were about 1040-1080 MB whilst the background tasks were slightly smaller.

    Just noticed that the sync cycle had started again.

    Foreground task is 690 MB whilst the background task is  640 MB.

    Hi Dave,

    Just adding my two cents here. This has happened for me twice. Just today the second time. 

    Today it happened after downloading and indexing about 100 resources

    The first time it happened I was in the library also, but don't recall if I was downloading or just finished tagging resources

    I ended up restarting windows both times then Logos opened ok and sync wheel was no longer spinning

    Sorry, I didn't get logs

    I'm on Windows 11 and Logos 910.017

    Too soon old. Too late smart.

    We had someone internal report this problem too, and we made some changes that might fix the situation. These will ship in the upcoming 9.12 Beta 1.

    9.12 beta 1 has not been released so one would expect the problem to still occur.
