Feature Request: Factbook Icon
PLEASE give us the ability to remove the Factbook Icon, or at least relegate to the Tools bar, or only pull it up from the Tools menu.
I never use it. I am constantly clicking it when I want the Library.
Ideally, other than the Home and Library buttons, the right icon area should be configurable with larger Tools icons that can be added or hidden.

Make a suggestion at https://feedback.faithlife.com/boards/logos-desktop-app and ask users to support that.

Hi Martin,
I understand your frustration. I think it is unlikely to go through because one of Logos' key user complaints is that the software is not intuitive enough, and pushing the Factbook is one of their key ways of easily exposing information. As a workaround, if you hit CTRL/CMD+L, the Library will open as a fullscreen window, apart from the need to click on anything.

This sounds to me more like a training issue - there are times when the Factbook should be used.

Here's a search on the various Feebear ideas regarding the toolbar, feel free to vote for all the ones you agree with and add your own for things that haven't been suggested: https://feedback.faithlife.com/search?term=toolbar
Here's one in particular about making the toolbar fully customizable: https://feedback.faithlife.com/boards/logos-desktop-app/posts/make-toolbar-completely-customizable-and-user-controlled

Oops I see that you have already found these yourself.

This is not how I use Logos, and I have been using Logos since it was called Libronix. I know exactly what I want, which resources I wish to check on any given subject, etc. Further, my resources are not the resources that the Factbook wishes to show me. It is irrelevant to me.
Furthermore, the insertion of "buy more books" advertisement right into what is ostensibly supposed to be a research tool is unwelcome and irritating.
