General Observation: Logos 4 very "crash friendly" after this latest 800mb download.

I've probably crashed 5 times in 20 minutes doing different things....I've never had L4 behave that badly as it is after this mega-download...
has anyone else had this experience?

This is my experience. I quit for the day because I've crashed about a dozen times since the download (Granted some of my crashes were attempting to imitate previous crashes so I could report them).

Just curious....how many months has L4 been in....well....repair?

I guess I'll skip the update that is awaiting me.

Glad beta is voluntary and thus crashes can easily be avoided.

The only one that is causing a crash is AV1873NT for me. The AV1873OT is working ok.

I haven't had crashes in quite some time...especially while working on the stable release. It's the Beta that's crashy...and only then very infrequently

Can you post some crash logs, please?

But I will when I get them.

The program should still have written a Logos4Crash.txt file (whether you had logging turned on or not). Do you still have that file (from yesterday) in your "Documents\Logos Log Files" folder?

I'm also getting more crashes than normal with 4.0cB3 - in particular when using the highlighting tools. When I have another crash I will post a log.

Bradley,
Ok...here it is...however relevant it is...
This is a known bug in Beta 3 that has been fixed in Beta 4. (It was unrelated to the large resource download.)

If you're using highlighting, you're probably running into the exact same bug. Please post a log if you're still crashing after installing Beta 4.

I was able to reproduce the above crash and gave it its own thread here: http://community.logos.com/forums/t/15676.aspx
