External Hard Drive?
Hi everyone, new to the forum! I have searched past posts for my answer but only found much older versions and replies...
I would like to put my Logos library and software on to an external hard drive (for PC). I can't see the program files on my computer (Windows10)- can anyone help?
Thank you!

It is the right one if it warns of the risks of using external drives, and that they must be formatted NTFS!?

Welcome [:D]
Logos Wiki includes => Install in different folder or drive
Logos Help Center (LHC) includes:
- Recommended Hardware and Software shows internal high speed Solid State Drive (SSD) with adequate free space

Honestly the fact they haven't built this in to the software by now is getting really annoying. I don't see what the problem is? As expensive as this software is, it should have been done many versions ago!!!

Not sure exactly what you are waiting for. Running Logos on an external SSD? This is possible since many years, in fact I personally did this for many years (until I recently got a new laptop with a large internal SSD), simply by choosing the SSD path as the installation drive. It just works. Remember to check the external SSD is NTFS formatted, otherwise there may be problems with later program updates- at least that was my experience back in the day. Other than that, I never had any issues.
NB: Logos says they don't support this officially - of course they do, they don't want to answer to complaints when someone rips out the USB cable during operation. I'd advise not to do that, regardless which program is running on an external drive. And don't use a spinning HD for Logos - simply don't.
Have joy in the Lord!
