Problems building a personal book
Good morning!
I have having problems with field on and field off warnings when building one of my personal books.
I doubled the milestones to provoke warnings for each verse, allowing me to localize where other errors were occurring.The first warning…
… is repeated five times before any biblical text begins, but I do not have any field markers until Genesis 1:1:
The build log continues without additional field errors all the way until Jeremiah 8:1:
[Warning] Consecutive duplicate Milestone Start for data-type bible: bible.24.8.1
[Warning] closing field bible that is already closed.
[Warning] Consecutive duplicate Milestone Start for data-type bible: bible.24.8.2
[Warning] opening field bible that is already open.
[Warning] closing field bible that is already closed.
And then warnings about opening or closing a field continue unabated until the end of the file. Looking at the file starting in Jeremiah 8, I cannot find a field opening or closing which is out of order.
Can anyone see a something which could be provoking build errors?

Maybe if you cut the file so that includes only Genesis and Jeremiah. Then post that file and let us "look over your shoulder"?
[Include everything before Genesis so we can "see" where the "field-off" is coming from.]

This builds for me without any non-recognized EDIT: or duplicate /EDIT bible references. It has two font-errors and five warnings about bible-off fields (there are more of those- On:18946 against Off:18951 or such)

I don't know about hidden fields, but...field-on (12155) uses a field-on style, field-off (12151) is Normal style (you have a field-off style), bible milestones are Reference style. These are usually defined with Normal style. Note you have more field-on than field-off.

Thank you for pointing out the descrepancy in style names, and in numbers. I did a search and replace for field-on to change all occurrences to that style, and the same thing with field-off. I created the style to try to find out where things were going off the tracks. There must have been occurrences which fell outside the pale, given that when I made the occurrences uniform in style, the numbers corresponded.

You are correct about the duplicate. I sent portions of the original file without redundant bible milestones.
