I was scrolling through the Pre-Pub's section looking for any news regarding NET Bible: Full Notes, 2nd ed.

So, how long we will have to wait for NET Bible: Full Notes, 2nd ed. and Ezekiel 38-48 AYB Commentary - not mentioning the other Pre-Pubs? 
I’m not sure if I’ll be alive in 2076. In 2099 I would have 115 years... and FL would publish the Logos 39 edition LOL

As with others, amazed at the length of time this is taking. I did notice that on the NET Bible site they do not list Logos as one of the platforms on which NET Bible is available (https://netbible.com/download/). Wondering if there has been a falling out between the Biblical Studies Foundation and Faithlife.

I'm glad to know that! I would be even happier if you may "correct" somehow the release date of the NET Bible, 2nd ed.
Considering that we have paid for this product it's a bit frustrating that it has not received the same priority as many other new books that FL has already published and is going to sale. Instead, we are still waiting... please don't get me wrong but just look into the Reviews section...Please Friends, I'm absolutely not biasing anything here and I know that we have to be patient but "quousque tandem"?
Just to be clear, I absolutely Love Logos/Verbum platform!

In my lifetime I have subscribed to 3 series - none of which came close to meeting their original production dates. One after taking slightly more than twice as long to complete became on ongoing series with no end date. One discovered that one volume simply could not be produced ... insufficient data. One is still ongoing but not hitting the advertised publication dates.

I'm not certain what it will/would be like in LOGOS but I know in TW5 it was a terrible update. Instead of two modules (bible/notes) it combined both bible and notes into one module which basically mean you could only use the NET notes if you were using the NET bible. I use the NET notes like a quick reference commentary alongside my NKJV. Couldn't do it with version 2.
Also, it appears as if the NET 2 is a trimmed down version of 1. They removed entries. I'm sure they added some, but I am fine with keeping NET 1 notes just the way they are. I'll decide what to disregard.

I would also like to jump on the bandwagon here and ask that the NET 2 at least have its date corrected or cancelled. I'm hoping for #1 as I do really like the NET

Since many of us already own the 2nd Ed reverse interlinears, if they cancel the actual bible, won't that be like having sold us the transmission for an Edsel?

NET2 Bible with Full Notes is a gem. I couldn't wait anymore, I bought a hard copy. It's a monster. Would be highly PO'ed if it gets canceled for any reason short of a Chinese ultrasonic tactical nuke attack on Bellingham.Mattillo said:BUMPing on the NET bible...

The NET Bible is part of my first Logos 9 package. Gets a little frustrating waiting so long, but I know these things are a bit of a challenge.

How is it different from NET1. Whenever I go to the NET2 online I don't see any differences in the notes from NET1. Did they change the translation?

We did not have any changes in translation philosophy between the first drafts and the new Second Edition, and our appreciation of the guidance and faithfulness of W. Hall Harris and the translators remains deep-seated and grows stronger with time. This Second Edition solely comprehends tasks the team had in mind as unfinished and future when we closed down our work on the First Edition. With these tens of thousands of updates, we strove to make a fine translation better. As you know, the extensive use of translators’ notes has simultaneously removed stress for the translators as well as given innumerable insights to the reader by providing a way for the translators to add nuances normally lost in translation.

I'm so excited to have this in Logos, now. I have it on my mobile devices (text, notes, and audio) using other software, but really want it in Logos on my main machine. I want it to be one of my top Bibles in Logos specifically so I can include it in my academic studies with more ease.

EDIT: The front matter indicates that the print edition has a different arrangement of the notes. While I see the notes by way of popup, I don't see a separate resource to have open. Maybe all that's been explained and I missed it.
Duh_EDIT: Yeah, Columns (1) and Show Footnotes. A little different than study notes we're used to.

The OT Reverse Interlinear is not ready yet, but since the NT was we included it. The OT will be forthcoming; I do not have an estimate for its delivery at present.

Following the foot notes in the NET2nd is time consuming even with power lookup because they are all garbled together. I wish there could be spaces between each entry

So, I got the NET 2 today and the Greek, but not the notes or the Hebrew. I am pretty excited to have the main text, though. I have been using it more and more in my devotional time in other apps, and it is awkward not to also have it in Logos for my studies. I do have the notes of the 1st edition. I have enough to limp along if I want to prioritize the NET 2 to my second favorite Bible.
I am curious about the mention of the NET 2.1 having better Strong's integration. It was pointed out earlier that was a worthless feature in Logos, but is it worthless in general? Does it help the Bible work better in some less powerful software, for hardcopy study, and as a commentary for KJVO groups?

I think the silence from Faithlife here on the separate notes resource question, along with the statement on the product page ('contains updated text and notes') means there will be no separate notes resource. Reading with footnotes displayed is going to be too cumbersome.
I think my best alternative will be to use it in a link set with Power Lookup.
Does anyone have more creative suggestions?

On further examination, I do have notes! I think they are the FULL notes, but I have not yet confirmed that.
On the website, I see that I purchased the NET 2 full notes, but I did not see them in my software as a separate download, as I do with the NET 1.

I think part of the problem is that the original version was also sold as a single purchase. Although looking at the product page I note the original version states:
The product will download as three separate resources for the text and the notes.
The revised version doesn't make this distinction. I was certainly expecting the notes to be a separate resource. It's a same the notes aren't separate. I'm not sure yet whether the notes have changed much though. If not I guess I can link notes from the original to the translation from the updated version.

In discussions with CS regarding this issue what I could ferret out from them is that the publisher made the decision to release the resource the way we have it. We were not charged for a separate edition for the notes which as you know is not available. This was not communicated to us thus the confusion. On a cursory review there does not appear to be much difference in the newly released notes. But, I see no advantage in linking the first edition notes with the second edition, except maybe to proof the second edition.
