Using slides in preaching mode
Hello, My name is Douglas Collins.
First, I hope that this post is in the right spot. If it isn't will some please help me put this post in the right place. Thank you.
Second, I just update to logos 9 Silver. I cannot find a video that will answer my question. How do I use my slides in a sermon. Let me explain, My church just got screens to post our songs and scriptures, etc.
According to the brother who works the software, in order to use the screen to teach/preach with, I would have to put them on a flash drive and he will put the flash drive in the church computer and go to each section as I go to each point.
What I would like to do (if possible) is present my sermon on the screen in sort of a power point presentation. Am I making sense?
Can anyone help me? Is there a video that I can watch?
Any and all help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Greeting Douglas
What you need is the 30 day free trial of Proclaim. Proclaim is Faithlife's Presentation Software.
Simply load a copy on you own computer and one on the church computer and export your sermon slides from Logos to Proclaim.
Have a look here and see if this helps
I would ask further questions in the Proclaim forum. Powerpoint is usable but it is such a chore.

Thank you. I appreciate the advice. Since I just spent money on updated my logos, I don't think I can afford the Proclaim as of right now. Maybe I will look into it later. Again, thanks for the information.

You may already know this... but....
I find Proclaim is out of my money range.... so I convert the Sermon Builder to Powerpoint.... I build it first in Logos Sermon Builder....then convert it... It doesn't take much time.... and then I control the remote.... [8-|]

It only takes a few minutes to convert it to powerpoint and it works well.

I also convert to Powerpoint. (Slide presentations you create in Sermon Builder can be converted to Powerpoint with just the click of a mouse.)
