Text Markup/Highlight Not Working on Mac M1Pro Monterey and Oddly in IOS

Hey all,

I tried restarting a few times and experimenting some but still can't quite figure this out.

In Logos 9.10.0.0017 on my Mac M1Pro Monterey it is not allowing me to highlight or markup text. I select the text in a book or bible, and I click on the Yellow highlighter in either the quick menu, highlighter tab, or my keyboard shortcut, and none of the options work, not even after restarting.

In IOS 15.2.1 it allows me to highlight but the swipe doesn't show the highlight anywhere while I drag my finger, I just have to guess, but it does appear. The highlights I make in IOS do sink to the Mac though.

Would appreciate any help,

Thanks so much,

Matt

I have responded in the other thread.

...so you can create highlights on iOS, you have verified that they exist, but you can't see them?

so you can create highlights on iOS, you have verified that they exist, but you can't see them?

I have reproduced this via the following:

    • Under View Settings, turn Show Notes/Highlights OFF
    • Create a Highlight
    • Highlight does not appear visibly.

The solution is to turn highlights on.

Thank you so much for your reply!

I do have the "Show Notes/Highlights" turned to ON.

To recap, the highlight does appear AFTER I am done dragging my finger, but in older versions, I could see the text highlight while I dragged my finger. Here is a screen capture demonstrating what I mean.

And for what it is with, every time I post here on the forums (now), it says that my posts have to be approved by a moderator, when it never did before. I checked my settings in Safari, I do not have "Prevent Cross-Tracking" enabled or "Hide my IP address."

Any help would be awesome on either, thanks!

    Matt
