Is there any way to get replace with passage to not paste in Helvetica and paste in the font I am using?

What are you pasting into? It is usually the receiving document that changes formatting.

Edit: I see you're pasting into Pages ... I use Word where the paste allows you the choice of original format, merged format, receiving text format, text only etc.

MJ I am pasting into Pages. I have a default font on the Document "Proxima Nova" that is our church brand font. But when I type in a ref, then highlight and hit my system keyboard shortcut - the font always comes in Helvetica.

I have the latest of Pages and the latest of LOGOS

    Does Cmd+Opt+Shift+V do the trick?

Try it with pages format set to something decidedly different.

Pages will always paste from the Replace with Passage service in Helvetica, no matter what font you are using. It is an eternal law forever.

CMD+OPT+SHIFT+V will not directly work. The procedure would be:

    1. Use the Replace with Passage service to insert the verses. (My shortcut is CTRL+OPT+CMD+/)

    2. CMD-Z to undo (the text of the verse will disappear but will be on the clipboard)

    3. Then CMD+OPT+SHIFT+V to paste the verse into Pages in the desired format.

Obviously, this is not any quicker than selecting the text and reformatting, but this could be made into an Automator workflow that would simplify the process.

Levi, that is a pretty brilliant work around. I wish that Logos would fix that issue. Helvetica is so 90's [:P]
