FaithLife Study Bible vs ESV study bible

Hi, I have been looking into the ESV study bible because I know it's highly recommended, but how do you compare it to the FaithLife Study Bible? Which one do you prefer and why?

I would suggest getting both, Nathan. If the cost is a concern, the Faithlife Study Bible is a "no-brainer," given the free cost.

Welcome to the Forum, Nathan!
How new are you to using the Logos software? Do you have the free version, or have you purchased an upgrade?
Are you wanting to compare the versions themselves or do you want to use the versions in Logos Bible software?
What version of the Bible are you using now, and do you use a digital or physical copy of the version, or both?
I have done a lot of version hopping lately. I cannot say that I have made my final decision, and I must be flexible enough to use the version used by whatever instructor that I am studying with. But when I am entirely free to use what I want, I have gone back to my KJV, and I am supplementing it with the NET Bible 2.1 with full notes. And I am using the Strong's numbering system with both versions, in Logos and in other software.
I know this is the "wrong" choice. I do the "right" thing in my classes. The ESV is "allowed" in all my classes. but the instructors that I study under all use something else that is not the ESV, and are convinced that their version is best. In theory it seemed that using the ESV would make my life the most consistent, but in reality, it was just one more version to juggle along with each of their pet versions.
The ESV comes in so many sizes and fonts and even comes in a Catholic edition. The Faithlife translation is not as available in a physical copy. The Faithlife Bible does not have an audio Old Testament yet. The ESV has a lot of memory verse support, including songs. There is a lot to consider when choosing a translation, if you are hoping to use only one all the time.
We are all looking forward to getting to know you. Welcome!

Are there any plans to have a print version of the ESV FaithLife Study Bible? I use it all the time in Logos, but I would love to give it as a gift in hard copy.
