Search not bringing back Bible results
If I type God in the search bar then I get results.
If I type Bethlehem in the search bar then I get results.
If I use <Person God> then no results show
If I use <Place Bethlehem (of Judah)> then no results show

What "level" of Logos do you have?
Are you using Logos 9 Basic or have you bought some of the available packages?
Some features require certain levels of the software.
And what Bible translation are you trying this in? The features you mention require either an original language Bible or one with a reverse-interlinear

It is the basic version and I am using the Lexham version. It does not work with any Bible version.
What version do you provide that contains all the features of Logos but not the content?
It looks like that if you want features you also need to buy the content which I am not interested in. Forcing the purchase of content is making the software very expensive.
That's why I am asking if there is a version available with the full features.

Just to let you know I do not work for Faithlife - I am just a user of the software. Faithlife personnel will have a green icon under their names.
Various feature sets are available - that focus on adding in features and not content. See https://www.logos.com/compare/featuresets for a comparison of these
But I suggest looking at https://www.logos.com/product/195714/logos-9-fundamentals - I believe this contains all the features required for the search parameters you outlined above.
