Delete a Note in Clippings

Select the text, delete it and close the clipping document.
It is not part of the Notes tool.

Or click the red circle with an x and mouse-over delete in the upper right of the clipping. It is visible only on mouse-over.

Thank you, Dave. I knew that was the "standard" method of deleting information, I was wondering if there was an option somewhere within the Note structure to delete it such as one had in a Note's Document.

Thank you, MJ, for your response except that don't know what red circle with an x is located. I think I have the "visible only on mouse-over" selected because I think this is what takes place when my mouse is over a linkable item. Is there a setting for this in Program Settings?

Thank you, MJ, for your response except that don't know what red circle with an x is located.
At top right of a clipping. You have to hover over that part to see it.
However, that deletes the whole clipping.
