How can I change a sermon title on my iPad - If I change ‘untitled sermon’ @ the 1st step of creating a sermon it works fine. But if I try at any point within the sermon, I cannot get into that field.

Can you please tell me what version of the app you are running?  This can be found under the "Help" menu at the very bottom of the settings area.

If you are running 9.12, it should allow you to do so.  I'd be curious to hear what exact steps you're taking to see this not work if you are in fact already on 9.12.

    Thanks.

Thanks for responding. I am running 9.12.0 (0035)

When I begin a new sermon, if I put in a title in the field that says ‘untitled sermon’ I can return and change it later. But if I just leave it as is, work on the body of the sermon, and THEN try to change the field I cannot do it. I can add letters and spaces and then remov3 them but I cannot edit the words ‘untitled sermon’.

Someone suggested that I just C&P the entire sermon and create a new sermon, putting th3 title in first. Works fine, but obviously not optimal.

    Ideas?

There was a previous issue with this in a prior build where the title of a sermon created from the iPad couldn't be edited properly.  Our development team has resolved that and is working well for me with 9.12.  One thing though I'll suggest trying is to completely uninstall the app from your iPad and then go back to the app store and download it again.  I'm curious to see if a full new install will help you with this situation.  It's possible that certain users who were in this buggy state previously could still experience it even after running the update.  However, a hard reset of it by uninstalling/reinstalling just may do the trick since I walked through that process and no longer experience the issue.

Please let me know as I'm very curious to get to the bottom of this situation.

I won’t lose all my sermons, as well as my place in the books I am reading, have read. Right?
