Modify displayed text of a Bible
If I want to replace a passage's translation with another translation, or my own editing, how do I do this?
example:
I want to have the ESV read in Exodus 32:4 "this is your God" and not "these are your gods."
John 3:17 (ESV)
For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.

I have done something similar for lectionary editing using a visual filter, but others may have found a better solution.
Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

There is a discussion of an approach to doing this at https://community.logos.com/forums/t/16999.aspx
The first post in the thread introduces the idea but it is worth scanning through the entire thread to see some refinements of the approach.

In summary, yes. But it is not possible to overwrite the original text as you can only minimise its size (to 20%) and then put the replacement as "Text Before" in a Highlight style. And you need a Highlight style and a Visual Filter for each passage you want to replace.
