Copy Bible Verses - Putting space before ending quotation mark
I want to have one verse per line with full reference and then the verse in quotes. The issue is that it always puts a space after the end of the verse before the quote.
I get:
1 Thessalonians 5:19 “Quench not the Spirit. ”
1 Thessalonians 5:20 “Despise not prophesyings. ”
1 Thessalonians 5:21 “Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. ”
1 Thessalonians 5:22 “Abstain from all appearance of evil.”
What I want is:
1 Thessalonians 5:19 “Quench not the Spirit.”
1 Thessalonians 5:20 “Despise not prophesyings.”
1 Thessalonians 5:21 “Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.”
1 Thessalonians 5:22 “Abstain from all appearance of evil.”
This is using:
=ForEachVerse

[FullVerseRef] “[VerseText]”

I see what you are saying - but I'm not sure there is anything we can do about this without Faithlife changing the code.
It looks as though the space at the end of the verse is included in the [VerseText] which is why you are getting the behaviour you describe.

True if specifying 1 Thess 5:19-22. But it can be avoided if you specify individual verses.

That is a good temporary workaround for now. However, I hope they make it possible to do it without having to put a verse number, comma, verse number, comma, ...
I start preparing to preach/teach through a chapter by putting all the verses from the chapter, forming the outline around the text, and then filling in the content underneath the appropriate verse. So if I have 30 verses, for example, it is easy to miss one typing that all out and rather cumbersome for something coming from such a polished app.
A [VerseTextNoEndingSpace] or something like that would be great.

Thanks for the report. I've create a case for this bug.
