Linkable Verses in Mobile Notes
Hello, I do a fair amount of study on my phone and iPad and when I create notes with bible verses references, those references do not become hyperlinked so I can tap it and it takes me to the verse. I went to my Mac and created a note and it does hyperlink. Is this a normal difference between mobile and mac? Is there a setting I am missing? Thanks

I tried adding a note, while reading NABRE, and also added a note in the Note tool (insert anchor). Both were clikable from the Note tool back to the NABRE text. I'm on iOS.
So, I'm not sure the problem. It was a bit of a bear deleting my test notes in the Logos app, but no problem on the Biblia app (months older).

You said you create notes with Bible verse references, how are you creating them? You can create a new note and anchor a Bible verse(s) to it or in your notes text you can create a link to it just by using proper spelling and syntax of a verse:
example [Book name] [Chapter Number] (optional “:” [verse number] (optional “-“ [end verse number]))
Mark 1 or Luke 1:5 or James 3:17-19 with correct book spelling and the space after the last digit should automatically create the link in the text of the note. Otherwise you can use an anchor, at the top of the create note screen and when you’re reading your Bible the note will pop up in the verses at which point you could view the summary or choose to open the note in another tab etc.

It seems that the issue I noticed is when I put parenthesis after ending the verse. (Ex: (John 3:16). If I type it out like the example, it doesnt link. I have to delete the last ) and then it links. Then I can re-add the ) and it stays linked. Does that make sense?

Yep it’s just a matter of the character sequence their website is programmed to recognize as a passage and thereby create a link from. I’m glad you got it to work with a space.
