I am polishing a workflow for bible study in the Orthodox manner. I have one step which appears only for Old Testament passages and one that appears only for New Testament passages. The latter is no problem but how do I define the Old Testament when I don't know the canon or its orders that they are using as their preferred Bible?

Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

You may need to expand on that, as I’m a bit confuse. Are you asking for information on the different canons that the Orthodox churches have used?

No, I am asking how to specify the OT canon on a step header in the workflow editor when one does not know the translation or the canon. Worded another way, how do I specify everything but the New Testament.
