Structuring Names Search, without including pronouns and possessives
I am preparing a presentation on Christian Exorcism, for senior clergy.
As part of this I wish to identify the different names for Satan in OT, Apocrypha, & NT; and count these.
I would like to do this but avoid finding and enumerating pronouns and possessives.
? How do I structure a query that will include Satan and related names (devil, etc), ...
<Person Satan> , but without pronouns (he, him, his, etc) or possessives (his, yours, etc)?

Try doing a Factbook lookup on Satan and then look at the Referred to as section

And excludes the OT
<Person Satan> NOT INTERSECTS (<LogosMorphGr ~ R??????>, <LogosMorphGr ~ V???????>) is more complete for the NT and LXX.
<Person Satan> NOT INTERSECTS (<LogosMorphHeb ~ R??????>, <LogosMorphHeb ~ V????????>) for the OT and Apocrypha.
If used separately in a reverse interlinear, restrict the range appropriately.

I really wish we had to select the canon explicitly, so it was clearer what the parameters of the results were. The common canons for Logos/Verbum users would be:
- short (Calvinist)
- Anglican
- Lutheran
- Catholic
- Greek Eastern Orthodox
- Slavic Eastern Orthodox

It does not.
Also, for the original poster, since all the screenshots have displayed the original language data in that section, be aware that there is also a "Translated As" list, which explicitly separates pronouns.(in all forms).

Hi Graham, Thanks for your assistance.
In your screen snap it has "Referred to as" just below the list of lemmas.
In my Factbook entry, with 'Satan' entered, there is no "Referred to as".
Is that something you added to the Guide?
