Clause search inconsistencies

I am trying to understand the meaning of some of the various "Judah" options in a Clause search.

The following refer to persons:

person:Judah (patriarch) refers to the Patriarch of Israel.
Does person:Kingdom of Judah refer to the members of the tribe of Judah?
person:Judas (ancestor of Jesus): why would this be distinct from person:Judah (patriarch)? It is also unlikely to be found by anyone since most people would look for Judah, not Judas in this sense.

I cannot figure out how these two place tags differ:

place:Judah (kingdom)
place:Territory of Judah

The only one of these search terms that works in a Clause search in the SBL New Testament is person:Judah (patriarch). But this search misses several verses where Ἰούδας ("Judah") is used:

Luke 1:39: Judah is used in a territorial sense, probably best tagged as Territory of Judah
Luke 3:30 and 33: refer to Judah the Patriarch, but the search does not find this verse. Are these verses tagged differently?
Hebrews 8:8: The house of Judah should be tagged as person:Kingdom of Judah, if I understand this tag correctly.
Revelation 5:5 and 7:5: the tribe of Judah used symbolically. This should probably be tagged person:Kingdom of Judah.

Is there another way these verses are tagged in the Clause search? When I look at the SBL Greek New Testament, these verses are tagged as follows:

Luke 1:39: Tagged with place:Judah (kingdom. However, a clause search for this search term returns no matches, including this verse.
Luke 3:30: Tagged with person:Judas (ancestor of Jesus). This seems inconsistent with the use of person:Judah (patriarch) elsewhere, which is used in Luke 3:33. While I get the point of this tag, I would like to see both tags on this word as in Luke 3:30.
Luke 3:33: Tagged with person:Judah (patriarch). However, a Clause search for does not find this verse.
Revelation 5:5: Tagged with person:Judah (patriarch) and person:Judeans (descendants). But this is not found on a search for either term in a Clause search.
Revelation 7:5: Tagged with person:Judah (patriarch) and person:Judeans (descendants). A search for person:Judeans (descendants) works, but not a search for person:Judah (patriarch), even though I can see the tag in the SBL Greek New Testament.

It seems to me that the clause search has some bugs here. If I am misunderstanding these tags and searches, I would love to know what is going on.

Suggestion: It would be less confusing if the pick list only offered choices that are relevant for the resource you are searching. So if the tag place:Judah (kingdom) is not used in the SBL Greek New Testament, that should not be offered as a selection. There are quite a few selections in the pick list that are irrelevant.

I have looked over the tagging for all of these instances. The issue is with Clause Search, not not with the tagging. We have someone dealing with that now.

I am still finding some of these very similar tags confusing.

Can someone clarify the difference between these tags:

place:Territory of Judah [evidently the geographical boundaries of the land allocated to the tribe of Judah]
place:Judah (kingdom) [I could not find this in Factbook]
place:Judea [Factbook defines it as "the territory associated with the tribe of Judah." How is this different than "place:Territory of Judah"?]

These seem like overly subtle distinctions that could confuse users and miss legitimate matches.

This difference between these are also puzzling:

person:Kingdom of Judah [Factbook has the definition "The residents of the two tribes constituting the Southern Kingdom."]
person:Judeans (descendants) [How is this different than the previous tag? Factbook does not have a definition.]

Big question: Can one assume that the definition given in the Factbook for a person, place or thing tag is the same as used in Clause searches?

This is merged in the "Kingdom of Judah" entry. You can confirm this by hovering your mouse over the Search link at the bottom of the See Also section. There you will see a search that includes all the references that have been grouped together:

<Person Kingdom of Judah>, <Place Judah (kingdom)>, <Topic Kingdom of Judah>

That's hard to answer directly. Generally speaking, the definitions in Factbook have been drawn from the definitions in the various datasets that are being grouped together. That said, in some cases the definitions have been manually altered, or in some cases where there are multiple definitions (from different references), one type has been preferred over another.

Clause Search deals with people, places, and thing references. Factbook deals with references from multiple datasets that have been merged together into "equivalent reference groups" via the Unified Annotation Vocabulary dataset.

Is it fair to say the following:

All Clause tags are also in the Factbook, but not all Factbook entries are used as Clause tags.
The definition given in the Factbook would be correct for a given Clause tag.
