Slow computer
I recently purchased a Surface Pro 8 for Logos, with the I7 and 32gb. I am using 5g hotspot for internet. When using Logos guides it runs smoothly, but as soon as I try using one of the tools, it gets unusable. Not sure what the problem is. When checking the task manager it is using almost no resources but Logos still wont respond. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks Josh

I appreciate you trying to post logs. In the future, however, make sure to zip them up and attach them (rather than pasting them into the forum). Logs are very difficult to read in the forums and make having a conversation for other posts difficult.
With that said: I see a bunch of DNS errors, which relates to internet. The "slowdown" occurred when you were trying to use the canvas tool? Do you have VPN? Have you tried using a different internet source?

No I'm not using a VPN. It is a mobile hot spot, but it should be fast enough since I can watch videos on the surface. Logos seems to get bogged down when using factbook, courses, or some of the other tools. It runs fine with layouts or searches.
Thanks

Download speed may be adequate but what about the upload speed?

What is the possibility that your issue is generated because of the GPU? Does a Surface pro have more than one GPU processor? If so, how are your logos configured to start by default? What graphics processor does it use if it's available? If it's possible, change the default GPU processor for logos and see if it fixed the issue. This is a shot in the dark.

With all those DNS errors it would be worth trying to manually set your DNS to a known server such as Google or other provider. Even if this is not your primary issue, it's definitely an issue.

I am using Windows 11 Home edition, which doesn't allow for the admin account setup, according to that article. I am able to access the Logos Web app and run courses and factbook without any problem, so it probably isn't an issue with internet speed. The GPU is the Intel Iris Xe Graphics, which is an integrated graphics card. Also have tried it with disabled Norton. I did try a different network, but it is considerably slower than my hotspot and it still shows the dns error. I have attached the updated logs.
Thanks

If Faithlife don't respond here you would be advised to contact Customer Service who can be more "hands on".

You would expect that to be the case[:D]. A 3 year issue of not being able to rename files/folders was fixed after I reset the machine (re-installing the same version of Windows).
