Bug Beta 5

I keep getting a crash when hovering ESV in the OT. I first was hovering in Exodus 12 starting in about verse 12. I have displayed surface and lemma transliterated. There are two ESV open at the same time. Both produce the same results. No crash log is created. After disabling Bible Text Only it no longer crashes. 06834.Logos4.log

The crash data is not included in this log. Was a Logos4Crash.txt file created? Can you reproduce the crash?

Edit: Also, was the Interlinear pane open, or any of the reverse interlinear Display lines enabled?

Somehow I must not have been very clear. "I have displayed
surface and lemma transliterated." What I meant was that the interlinear is open with those two options checked. "No crash log is created." What I meant was that out of the 6 or 8 crashes, it never produced a crash log file. The only crash file I have was created when I told it to go ahead and restart and install Beta 5 just before lunch. I have reproduced the crash multiple times until I figured out that disabling Bible Text Only then re-enabling it causes the program to no longer crash.

Ironically this all occurred when I click the link to Exodus 12:13 from the "Every Promise in the Bible" where they made reference to an allusion of pasah meaning to hovering over as opposed to passing over. When I hovered the word is when it crashed. Is it a bug, or maybe it's a sign... [:)]

The developers primarily need to see the crash information in a log. Did it crash after installing Beta 5, before you disabled/reenabled BTO?

The first crash was my only crash in Beta 4. After the download and alert to restart and install, I clicked restart now, and it crashed, creating the crash log. However it still installed Beta 5 without incident. Then the Beta 5 crash occurred as indicated. Since there was no crash log, I enabled logging, restarted and repeated the crash. Since there was still no crash log, I at least uploaded the log that might at least show the last thing going on when it occurred. I repeated the crash numerous times trying to see if I could find a cause. It didn't happen while scrolling other places in the bible until it happened somewhere in Lev. I tried another time scrolling from the beginning of Exodus and it didn't crash until verse 12 of chapter 12. I then decided to try disabling filters one at a time to find a possible culprit. But the first one I tried, Bible Text Only, solved the problem and it hasn't occurred again since. Another thing that is probably unique on my machine is that I have always preferred reading with Comic Sans MS. This does cause problems with the vowel markers in the transliterated text, and was being used at the time of the crash. However, it is still enabled and does not appear to be the cause of the crash directly. Thanks.

I could reproduce this crash in beta 5. But only once. After I restarted, the crash did not reoccur. No crash log was produced when it did crash. I am attaching my logos4.log from the time of the crash.

I posted in another thread that the Comic Sans MS font wasn't really displaying properly and asked for other suggestions of favorite fonts. When I was testing other fonts, I re-enabled the Comic font and noticed that it looked like it was displaying correctly the marks. However while scrolling... it crashed again with no crash log created. I wonder if it has something to do with the font. I have put it back on the Default font and will see if there are any crashes.

This has to be resolved as I was able to reproduce Dewayne's crash - with NO error in the normal log and NO crash log. I opened ESV at Ex 12:1 and selected the Display options stated. I started looking for the BTO option clicking on Tab menu. Anyway if you click around enough it will crash - maybe on the translit text line.

Just now happened for the second time - WITH error logs.
