example uses section
I have been watching the Morris Proctor's A to Z videos. I am now on the examples uses section for bible word study.
In my logos, I have the same lemma that he has in the video, but, do not have any example uses like he does.
Can anyone explain why? By the way, I have logos 9 silver.
Thank you.

Towards the top right of the Bible Word Study panel you'll see "Add" with a drop down menu. Find "Example Uses" and click to add it to your panel. It will show up at the bottom and you can drag and drop it to rearrange the ordering of all the other features. If you don't see it, you might need to upgrade to Gold to get the feature.

You need the Full Feature Set to access the Grammatical Relationships data for this section.

Morgan, the example uses section is there, but, it is shaded - meaning there is not information for that section. But, there should be.

Dave, I have the full feature set. According to what I can find out logos 9 silver gives me full access to the bible word study.

I don't understand. Yesterday when I went to my library and typed "type:clause" - there were two books that showed up. One of them was the one that Morris Proctor used in the video. But, today, when I searched my library none of those books showed up.
Guess that answers my question about the example uses section. thanks everyone.

Did you have a space after the colon? (You should not). Also, I assume you are not using quote marks in the library search (you should not in this case).

I did not use the quotes and I typed it both ways (with and without the space). It seems that I do not have the data sets that I need to use the example uses section. Again, thanks to everyone for their help. Appreciate it.

Ok, now I am really confused. I checked my library again. I found out that I do have one of Morris Proctor's books that is in the video. It is titled, "Cascadia syntax graphs of the New Testament: SBL edition". I do not have the other one titled, "Opentext.org clauses".
It seems that I need at least the second book in order for the "example uses section" to work.
Unless, I'm missing something. (Screams in frustration)

I apologize, Dave. You are right I do not have the full feature set. Therefore, I don't have all the datasets I need to operate not only the "example uses section" but the "clause participants" section as well. Maybe someday I will get all the features. Again, I apologize and thanks.

If you need these datasets you could always subscribe to 'Connect' for the period that you wish to use them.

The Cascadia one is sufficient. The Opentext is no longer distributed.
Your Example Uses section in Bible Word Study should be similar to this for γραμματεύς (scribe):

If Cascadia is sufficient, it still doesn't work. I have an example uses section, but the heading is shaded. Meaning there is no search results and when I hover over it, there is no settings.

are you using the paperclip or the amber icon to its right?

I was using the window key + shift + s. Then I took just a small portion of the screen, but, when I pasted it, it was huge.

cut and paste doesn't work - you must upload using either the paperclip or the amber icon

Didn't Dave say that you need the full feature set to which you replied that was not what you have? Being grayed out means you don't own the feature, IIRC.

I owe everyone another apology. I should have ended this conversation after I apologized to Dave and told him that I didn't have the full feature set, instead I started the conversation again by mentioning that I had one of Morris Proctor's data sets (upon further investigation, I found out that I only have a partial of that data set). I take full responsibility for everything and ask your forgiveness. I would like to thank MJ Smith for showing me how to post a screenshot. I also would like to thank everyone that has responded to this post. God Bless you all.

You're welcome. No need for apologies - we are here to help people work through issues with Logos.
