Not able to copy after select-all on iOS/iPadOS

Text editing and text selection is still a real frustration in Logos for iPadOS and iOS. I am now experiencing a problem where once I select text there is no way to copy and paste it because the black control box disappears immediately after it appears. I have a video demonstrating the behavior on my iPad, but I am not certain how to upload it. For now, here is the link to the video in Dropbox.

On iPad there is a work around. The software keyboard has a built-in copy button, and with an external keyboard you can press command-c. I am not aware of workarounds on iOS.

I reported this through the app, but wanted to cross-post here.

Logos version is 9.13.1 (0049)

iPadOS is 15.4.1; iPad is 12.9" Pro with M1 chip

iOS is 15.4.1; iPhone 13 Pro Max

Couldn't view your Dropbox. But it sounds like the screen-focus problem. They tried to fix it a while back (viewable when highlighting, there's a missing visual-clue of what highlighting). I don't encounter your issue, since I have the swipe-to-highlight on. Selecting to copy attaches to the highlight. Which doesn't solve your bug.

Tech support offered me two solutions. One did not work. I’m testing the second. If that works, I will post both here in case others have the same issue and want to try Them.

Daniel Aguilar from Logos Technical support recommended the following procedures. The first one did not work for me, but the second one did.

    First Method - Reset workspace

    1. Close all apps on the device
    2. Go to iOS settings for the device.
    3. Find Logos in the list
    4. Turn on the option for “Reset Workspace”.
    5. Re-open the Logos app.

    Second Method - Reinstall app

For readers who may not understand the process, use these instructions to uninstall and then re-install the app.

Fair warning ... it empties out all the books you're reading. Do a save layout first.
