  • How do I find all the objects of the English word "love?"
  • How do I find the above with "Jesus" as the subject?

    Welcome Jack

Let me see if I understand your request using Clause Search:

    • verb:love object:ANY  but verb-lemma:ἀγαπάω  object:ANY is more focused on the verb
    • verb:love subject:Jesus  but verb-lemma:ἀγαπάω  subject:Jesus is more focused

This will require a Bronze Feature set in Logos with a Greek bible (SBLGNT) and an English bible with a reverse interlinear if you don't understand Greek.

The other option is a Syntax Search has a higher requirement.

    OR

You can try a Bible Word Study on the Greek word  ἀγαπάω  (verb):

The Grammatical Relationships section will show:

    • With Object --> where you will find a number of Objects
    • With Subject -->  where you can find Jesus

I think I would go about it differently. verb-sense:to love (care) subject:Jesus  gives 5 results and no false positives. I cannot figure out why Galatians 2:20 is missing, though.
For your first question, I would do a clause search for verb-gloss:love and then click "Analysis." You can click "Object" and drag it to the top to sort by object.
