BUG! Concordance Tool: Some resources to show page numbers while others don't

I use the Concordance Tool a ton for non-biblical resources (regular books) to get an overview of the contents, references, and citations of the book. I frequently notice that some books display page numbers in the Concordance Tool while others do not. There seems to be no rhyme or reason as to which will display page numbers and which don't.

What causes this phenomenon? Can this be fixed? The Concordance Tool is infinitely less helpful (almost useless) for regular books without the page numbers because it requires you to click on each reference to know where it shows up in the book.

Have you checked that those who don't show page numbers have page numbers? Or are those that don't show page numbers e-Books? Or do the books have another index? Unfortunately I can't decipher the resource names to actually test.

It does have page numbers. It is not a FLEB title.

Or do the books have another index?

    Here are the indices:

Neither would I be able to do so. However, the book was open in another tab in the screenshot.

Yes, the books have page numbers. Here is the book included in the above screenshot. This is just one example, there are many. I'm rarely using eBooks to any degree of depth so these books are almost always Logos Research Editions.

Here's another example from the Study of Anglicanism (Logos Research Edition with page numbers):

    Here are the indices:

Fascinating that my version of Answer Jewish Objections to Jesus Volume 3 has different indexing than yours, but it still has page numbers so they should be showing in the Concordance tool:

Or are you showing Volume 5, which my version's indexing matches yours?

Either way, none of the 5 volumes from this series displays page numbers in the Concordance tool even though they are all Research Editions with Page indexing.

I cannot get it to fail when page is the only index. I suspect but have not proven that it is related to multiple indexes in some way.

Have you thought to report as a bug? Doing so appears to garner more attention from FL.

Meanwhile, Jesus kept on growing wiser and more mature, and in favor with God and his fellow man.

I wondered the same thing. But this resource has three different indexes and the church calendar days do show up in the Concordance tool, though the page numbers don't. But at least a usable reference shows up in the concordance tool to help you see where the citations are showing up in the resource. Maybe it can't specifically do page numbers when there are multiple indexes but can do other items like calendar day.

Hopefully this issue can be looked at, tested, and fixed.

I was trying to figure out the nature of the problem before labeling it a bug, so I simply called it a flaw.

I have now labeled it a bug in the thread title.

My apologies. I opened volume 3, saw that it had page numbers, and closed it. I tried to reopen it to answer the other question and opened the wrong one. You are right.
