Logos crashing (KJV 1900 cross-reference Apocrypha issue)

I use the KJV 1900 as a main Bible and Logos automatically attaches "The Apocrypha: King James Version" to said module. (Annoying, as it replaces the KJV 1900 in the same tab, instead of opening a new one; yet no real problem there.)

For the KJV 1900, it has cross-references to the Apocrypha. (Again, no problem.)

In a good way, I somehow made the Cambridge Paragraph KJV (AV 1873) to act as the pop-up verse preview. (Another good thing, so the KJV 1900 doesn't just switch to the KJV Apocrypha book in the same tab.)

Yet when I actually click on the Apocryphal verse cross-reference when using the KJV 1900, instead of going to the KJV 1873 tab as that is being previewed, it hangs and then crashes. This happens every time.

In this image, the KJV 1900 is being used, the cursor (invisible here) is hovering over "Wisd. 12:12". And yet if I click on that cross-reference, Logos will always crash (as with any Apocryphal cross-reference, despite the AV 1873 being open in another tab):

Example

This crash problem has to do with the 3 following modules:

"The Holy Bible: King James Version"
LLS:KJV1900
2019-09-24T19:56:58Z
KJV1900.logos4

"The Apocrypha: King James Version"
LLS:1.0.4
2020-08-14T17:55:06Z
KJVAPOC.logos4

"The Cambridge Paragraph Bible: of the Authorized English Version"
LLS:AV1873

AV1873.logos4

You must have prioritized it below the KJV 1900 (and above the KJV Apocrypha, if it is listed).

Yet when I actually click on the Apocryphal verse cross-reference when using the KJV 1900, instead of going to the KJV 1873 tab as that is being previewed, it hangs and then crashes. This happens every time.

I can't reproduce this. Please upload zipped logs by using the paper-clip icon.

    I appreciate the reply.

I've gone through the logging process, with the crash as well.

Which of those .log and .txt files should I send? All of them?

all of them - zip them to be under the maximum file size

I have also been trying to replicate this crash and have so far been unable to. Do you have your resources linked? In a series? Any visual filters applied? Any additional information may assist in reproducing the crash you are experiencing.

This was somewhat solved, yet I will give it a run-down:

Do you have your resources linked?

    - The KJV 1900 and AV1873 are not linked and they crash.
    - If they are in the same link set (for example: "A"), the crash still happens.

    In a series?

    - The KJV Apocrypha is automatically in a series with the KJV 1900 ("The King James Version with Apocrypha").
    - No user tags have been used.

    AHA! The fix:
    - I set the series of the KJV 1900 to simply be "The King James Version"; whereas the KJV Apocrypha is still in the default "The King James Version with Apocrypha" (I cannot remove the KJV Apocrypha from all series by leaving it blank for some reason.)
    - Then by clicking on the KJV 1900 cross-reference to an Apocryphal Book preview with the AV1873... it goes right to the AV1873 tab (both open & closed), as it should.

The only unfortunate thing is that in the "Comparison" drop down menu, there is now a "The King James Version" which only has the KJV 1900 and the KJV Apocrypha is still in the "The King James Version with the Apocrypha"

    Kjv - Copy

This is my only gripe now, as the KJV Apocrypha seems to think it is still with the KJV 1900, or something else, at least in the Bible comparison selection menu.

Series that are set by Faithlife cannot be removed. You can only change the name (and it will revert to the original when you try to remove it).

That is to be expected. They will appear with whatever Series name they have.

I see, thanks for checking it out then.
