Crash when using ESV inline interlinear

I've been getting a consistent crash when I have the ESV Display set to Inline. I've tried several combinations but in this instance, I've used Surface & Manuscript. The crash happens as I drag my mouse over the text. It seems to happen between words and I see a little visual flash at the pointer location before the crash: like a pop-up is starting to appear but never completes.

The crash is not reflected in the logs and a new Logos4Crash.txt is not generated.

I can't get a crash when Inline is unchecked or when inline is checked with ONLY Surface checked.

However if I check Inline, and uncheck everything else, so that there is no text on the screen, then the error happens much more easily (when I drag the mouse across the window).
