Logos Not Starting
Hi Fellow Logos Users!
Since yesterday my Logos will not start. (Win 10, all windows updates installed, multiple restarts, unistalled Logos and reinstalled fresh from Logos.com, Chrome updated but it is not my default browser--I use Firefox but it has not updated recently, uninstalled Chrome and reinstalled it again)
So what happens when I click the Logos icon is that the splash screen comes up, then a login screen. I log in with my credentials and when that is successful, the little window to say my library is updating starts working with its little progress circle. The progress indicator then freezes and disappears and Logos disappears from the list of open tasks in task manager.
Logos has been working perfectly on this machine for 4 years, and the machine way exceeds Logos' tech specs.
I would be grateful for help to sort this out asap because I use logos a lot.

So I have tried to load a blank layout (holding Ctrl). That hasn't worked.
I have checked PC Health app. It said there was a problem with windows updates. All of my updates were up to date. The "update to win 11" notification was still there so I cancelled it. Then a new update for windows appeared. Just downloading and installing that update to see what happens :-)

Ok, so I finally found my logos log files. Looking through them I saw, of course, a long list of attempts to get the program started. So I copied the crash log to somewhere else and deleted all of the other files. Tried to start logos again and it started. I don't understand why that would have made a difference, but now it is running again.
I appreciate your willingness to give it a shot JT :-)

Just an update on this issue in case other people are experiencing the same problem.
I tried everything I could think of, but couldn't solve the problem. Then a couple of days ago a windows update downloaded on my computer that solved the problem. This is the update:
