Note Anchors could use some imporovements

I would like to have a note anchored not to any specific verse in Job, but the entire book.

I type in Job, and there are two options, of which I can tell no difference.
I pick both and find that one leads to the Factbook entry of Job the person, while the second one leads to the book of Job in my preferred bible.
I try some another method: I open Factbook to "Book of Job" wondering if the notes tool will catch it as the active reference - instead it picks up the book of Psalm in my bible.
I try typing in <Job> and <Job 1-42> which give me options of "Job Person" in the Factbook and "God" (?)

In the search dropdown menu there are icons indicating what sort of search you are selecting (person Job with the person Icon, or Book of Job with the bookmark). Could we have this in the notes anchor?

And it doesn't seem that "Select Active Reference" recognizes the Factbook. You have to type it in and blindly pick the correct option.

Just ranting about a product I love in hopes of improvements.

What happens if you try Job (without the angle brackets)?

This one works for me with the distinction between reference (any Bible) and selection (preferred Bible)

What happens if you try Job (without the angle brackets)?

You get at least three options for Job. At least one of them is the bible reference, but there is no way of knowing which Job links to what without trial and error. Icons used to differentiate people from books when using search or the Factbook would help solve this.

Also, I would expect consistent behavior. Typing a bible reference in <> tells search that we're focused on a bible reference. Anchors do not recognize the same syntax.

Just revisited this and did not phrase it well in the original post. This is the behavior I'm seeing.

My hangup is that there is no way from the drop down menu to indicate that this is a bible reference vs. a Factbook entry.

I ran into this..... and one workaround for me... was to Anchor the note to the 1st chapter and 1st verse in the Bible book. It does convolute the notes of verse 1... but I distinguished that with different icons. I set one icon to be "book icon"...

My current workaround when anchoring to a book is to have my bible located at the introductory material. This keeps 1:1 from getting cluttered with icons. I just wish there wasn't a need for a workaround.

I just tried this and it worked...

I went to the start of the book of book of Mark.... highlighted the name of the book "Mark" and then added a note... and it worked. Cool beans!
