How to prevent a town from disappearing in Atlas?
I was looking into Ziklag, where David hid, and wanted to find out which tribal inheritance it was and hopefully take a picture of the tribal inheritance with that town visible and save it to a document. So I looked at "tribal inheritances" in Atlas and then entered Ziklag in the search box and it zoomed in to the location. So far so good. But the whole screen only shows Judah, and I want to zoom out to properly position Ziklag in context to the larger region, at which point it just dissapears.
Is there any way to mark a town or feature in the atlas to prevent it from dissapearing when you zoom out? Something like "I want to get information about X, don't hide it from me. Please don't hide this." You would thing that the text of the town in the search box would be enough to tell Logos not to dissapear the feature at any zoom level, but apparently it's not. I tried clicking on it, but still was not able to "mark" it as a point of interest in that atlas browsing session.

The quick way I could do it, was for the map you're on, and the location showing, do a 'Find' (in which case, the marker stays visible as I zoom both in and out).
Granted ... the name disappears (the map detail layer is turned off), but the marker remains.

Thank you. That does bring up the marker, which helps. The open find box, though, covers up the "+" on the zoom controls.
I added a feature request here: https://feedback.faithlife.com/boards/logos-desktop-app/posts/allow-user-to-force-atlas-to-show-a-city-regardless-of-zoom-level

Good idea.
In the meantime, if a pinch, the Cntrl/Cmd +/- zoom in/out works, but sort of iffy relative to what you want.
