Faithlife Account Email Change App Question

I know when I change my Faithlife Account email that the change automatically takes effect in the mobile apps eventually.

Does it also take effect in the desktop app as well, or do I need to sign out and sign back into the desktop app with my new email?

Thanks again!

What do you mean by that and how do you know this?

do I need to sign out and sign back into the desktop app with my new email?

I have my doubts. Why do you not ask Customer Service directly...

    Hi Nathan,

There is no need to sign back into any Faithlife mobile app or desktop software after changing your login email address.  Your account will sync and update automatically.

Thanks Joe! I was hoping it would be that way.

Re Dave: Joe mentioned the mobile app on here a while back when I asked about it, so that’s how I knew it did it. I posted here since I was hoping Joe would answer my question about the desktop app, which he did. :-)

By the way, CS is still sending out the instructions to sign out of the desktop apps and reinstall the mobile apps after an email change. CS may want to be updated on the new policy.

My mobile app is showing the correct email. My desktop app is still showing the old email, but it could be the version of the desktop app I’m on. :-)
