Famine and Starvation
Is there any way to find quotations that make reference to either famine or starvation? As an example, in Luke 21, Jesus say (KJV) "But woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck, in those days! for there shall be great distress in the land". Historians tell us about the starvation in the siege of Jerusalem. And similar passages are in Ezekiel. And although the words famine or starvation are not mentioned, the passages are referring to them. So how does one conduct a search that will reveal these related passages?

Did you type "famine" into the "go box"?

A lot comes up for me, but I have a lot of legacy libraries.

I might use a Topical Index for that. For example, Collins Thesaurus of the Bible has good entries covering many mentions of famine that don't use the words famine or starvation explicitly.
I keep a collection of Topical Indexes, and I searched through that collection for the word famine to find this. Here are the other resources in my collection that had mentions of famine:
BTW, it turns out the word famine is used earlier on in Luke 21, and the verse you quote (v. 23) doesn't necessarily imply famine -- just that whatever the distress in the land mentioned above (which happens to include famine) it will be hardest on those with little ones.
