link between notes

Good day to all.

I mainly use the desktop for everyday use, but heavily rely on the Android app on my tablet and phone while out and about.

I need to establish links between my notes and just could not figure out how it functions on my Android app. Whenever I click on a link on the Android app, either nothing happens, or it jumps to my internet browser. The links work fine on the Windows desktop, however.

Is there a way to ensure that the link will open the appropriate note on the Android app?

For reference, neither the html link nor the L4 Logos link works as expected.

Any insight would be most appreciated.

Thanks, and God bless.

I also would like link between notes..... and I use a "work around" that works...  it may not be as clean as direct links.... but it does work after a fashion...

Let's say I have a list of notes... that I want to go from note1 to note2 to note3....

And each note is anchored to some text... say Joh 1:1, Joh 1:14, Joh 3:6... (example only)

In each note.... I put "Next:" and "Prev:" in each note... so note1 which is anchored to Joh 1:1 would have "Next: Joh 1:14" and "Prev: None" ...

Then...  when I look at note1... I can click on Joh 1:14 by Next and go to that verse... then click on the note icon... and walla ... I am in note2....

I know it's clunky... but I have many links like that in my notes....

I am hoping that one day....Maybe Logos 10.... to have links from one individual note to another individual note.

    Hope this helps a little.

Unfortunately, I don't think links in notes are active on Android (and they don't work properly on iOS either)

Hopefully this will get addressed at some point.

I am hoping that one day....Maybe Logos 10.... to have links from one individual note to another individual note.

This is possible today - on desktop, but as Michael alludes to it doesn't work properly on mobile.

On desktop, when you have a note open in the Notes tool, copy its URL from the Notes panel menu

Then choose a portion of text in another note and add a link to it - pasting in the URL of the first note

If this doesn't work for you, or if it doesn't make sense, please start a new thread in the Logos 9 desktop forum

Thanks Graham.  Like you, I am hoping this will get incorporated into the mobile soon.
