Keeping Same Windows at time of exit from Logos

How can I keep existing views when exiting Logos?  This question is about the Logos desktop version.

If I am reading a scripture, but need to exit Logos, I would like to start at the same place when I open Logos later?  Updating the "Layout" could be a method but I really would like to bookmark the location so that I could come back to it when I open Logos later.

The best way is to open the Layouts menu & choose the top option which is “Save Current Layout As”. Then it will be saved on the left side of the Layouts menu.

It would work via a saved layout, which you then can load manually or have the program load it at startup.

In the command go box type "update active now", then drag and drop that command to the shortcut bar. Now, just before you close Logos or the particular layout, click this short cut icon to update it to current status.  Next time the layout opens, it will open to the exact spot where you last updated it.

Go to Program Settings and find "At startup open to," then select "Most recent layout - local."

This will ensure that Logos always opens with the layout just as you left it.

This is certainly the quickest option for the one case of returning to the layout in the status with which the program was closed. [Y]
If one would like to keep views of layouts prior to closing or changing to a different layout, a shortcut for "update active now" might be more convenient than going to layout menu with its options for saving or updating layouts.

Quite right. Top tips all round!
