Sermon content missing in Ipad App

Hi all,

I hope someone can help me. I've searched for an answer to this, but either I've not searched correctly, or it's not happened before, but here's my problem.

A few weeks ago, Logos crashed during a sermon and wouldn't open at all.

I uninstalled it and reinstalled it, however, when I go to the sermons, the titles appear, but the content is missing for each sermon. I really enjoyed using Logos for preaching, so I hope I can get this fixed soon.

Has anyone else encountered this before? Is there anything I need to do (I have forced a sync, but to no avail)?

Any help would be appreciated.

The sermons were present in that link, but I still cant get them on my ipad.

Incidentally, the sermons come up fine on my phone, which is Android.

Any other thoughts?

I can only confirm that I can see my sermons by going to 'Preaching Mode' however I am using a 'Beta' version of the app so cannot answer conclusively.

That USED to be the case, but no longer. When I go to Preaching mode I just see the title and that's it.

That's the nightmare scenario! I'm grateful to the Lord that it's never happened to me.

Out of interest, what did you do!?

My backup has always been the phone in my pocket, but that depends on everything working as expected.

I know that there were some fairly major server issues a few Sundays ago that particularly affected Proclaim. I don't know if that could have anything to do with your issue.

As for what I did - I did nothing at all. I had Logos open with the sermon ready to go. I use the Books app for my order of service. I went from one to the other, as I have always done and Logos hung. I closed it down and reopened it, and it closed itself down immediately. I did this 2-3 times and then I uninstalled the programme.

Upon installation, my resources are present, but the sermons aren't. There's a list of the titles, but nothing present when I go into each one.

Me too. There is often a lag, but it shouldn't be that long.

I'm afraid I can't help you out there - someone from FL will need to chip in.

I meant how did you preach when you lost your sermon notes!?

A re-install should have fixed it. And this is very unlikely (with a reinstall), but go over to your iOS settings for the mobile app, and reset.

I'm curious how you did your sermon too!

Thanks, I'll try the reset.

As for what I did. Thankfully, in my order of service, I put a copy of my sermon in there for a couple who are deaf, so I was able to use that, thankfully!
