Hi,

I have two different Faithlife/Logos accounts - one associated with Logos 7 and one associated with Logos 9/Translators Workplace.  On my new computer I currently have the Logos 9 version running but I am wondering if I am also able to access my resources associated with my Logos 7 account without having to upgrade that one to Logos 9.  I understand that one has to log out of one account and log into the other to switch between the accounts, which is fine, I am just wanting to know if that is possible when the accounts are linked to different versions of Logos.

Thanks in advance for your help!

    Welcome to the forums:

    • A Faithlife installation may be on several computers/laptops/mobile devices at the same time.
    • The current version Logos 9 is available at no cost which is worth knowing if you didn't already have Logos 9
    • So you can "upgrade" your Logos 7 to Logos 9 without any cost or loss of functionality
    • The only reason for maintaining a prior version such as Logos 9 is if your computer doesn't meet the minimum requirements for Logos 9
    • You need to have a single account to share resources - but you can keep the software on an older version when necessary by turning off automatic updates in the program settings.

Thanks, MJ.  I didn't realise Logos 9 was available at no cost - that's helpful to know!  Sounds like switching between user accounts is going to be a lot easier than I imagined.

    Hi Amy

Is there any particular reason you need to maintain both accounts?

Faithlife Customer Services would be able to merge them so all of the resource / features are linked to this merged account and so you would only need to log into one account and gain access to all of them

    Hi Graham,

Nope, no reason to maintain both accounts if merging is an option (I just didn't think it was!).  I will send the Customer Services team an email and put the request in.

Thanks for letting me know this is doable.

If calling is an option, that might be better, since they will probably need to ask some questions to verify that you own both accounts.  You could get it done faster without having to email back an forth.
